Meetings dates have been changed to the 2nd Wednesday of each month starting February. Same time, mark your calendar!

Fear of rejection is perhaps the major road block which prohibits people from realizing their full potential in both their professional as well as personal life.

This exciting and motivational training seminar provides participants with practical, hands on, effective techniques for dealing with and depersonalizing rejection. It gives participants the opportunity to identify the sources of rejection in his/her personal and/or business world with solutions for dealing with it.

“Rejection Protection” is a quality, productive, entertaining, thought provoking presentation.

Presentation elements:

· Understanding of the mind/body connection.

· How to use the fear of rejection as a tool for increased success and personal growth.

· Identification of the sources of rejection in the participant's personal and/or business world with practical solutions for facing it.

· Introduction and identification of the powerful influence, N.I.C. (Negative Inner Commentator), with practical and immediate techniques for its elimination.

· Enhanced self-imaging techniques through the value of understanding and developing a healthy self-esteem.

Kevin has been presenting training seminars for over 25 years. His approach in understanding the value of total personhood along with his training and private practice of clinical hypnotherapy the past 12 years, provide him with the experience and tools necessary to lead others to success. His research and study in the field of psychoneuroimmunology (research which studies the relationship between the mind, the brain and the body) has provided him with a practical and working understanding of how treatment of the entire person, not just the problem (or disease) is critical and effective. His ability to translate the workings and effects of psychobiology into layman’s’ terms effectively provides clients with practical hands on therapy and techniques for becoming the person they desire to be. He provides this service both as an independent contractor for Franciscan Health Systems, and through private individual sessions as well as group seminars and conventions.

REMEMBER THE 2ND WED OF THE MONTH

Hello IMDHA Chapter Members and Friends,

If you missed the Friday night meeting you have some catching up to do. Several changes were voted on and passed.

1. The meeting night has been changed to the 2^nd Wednesday of the month. The time will still be 7:00 PM at The Aldebaran Center, 3323 Pacific Ave, Tacoma 98418

2. The annual membership fee has been reduced to $35.00 to help make joining easier due to the slow economy. The fee at the door for non-members will still be $5.00. Your first meeting is still free. If you are an existing member or want to become a member please fill out the application attached and send it to: IMDHA Tacoma Chapter, 3323 Pacific Ave, Tacoma, WA 98418 with your check for $35.00. Existing members are not required until June 1st.

3. A new board of officers was elected. They are as follows:

President-Raymond Zukowski (also Treasurer)

Vice President- Tom Ward

Secretary- Kelley Bliss

Event Coordinator- Carmon Tolin

Refreshment Coordinator- Rena Marken

Librarian- Joni Zukowski

4. Please forward any updated contact information to us so we can keep you on our mailing list. If you know of someone that would be interested in the meetings please have them contact us or just bring them to a meeting.

5. We are looking for speakers for the coming year. If you have a topic that would be of interest to the group please forward a description to Ray at rzukowski.cht@gmail.com.

If you have an interest in a particular topic please send them to us and we will see if we can find a speaker to match.

6. We will continue to broadcast our meetings over the internet at Ustream.tv this year. Remember that you can only receive CEU’s for the meetings if you are in physical attendance at the meeting. We may have a few other technology advances coming but we will announce them as they become available.

7. Several other issues were discussed. Sharing speakers with the NGH South Sound Chapter. Having a short demonstration at each meeting showing a technique, induction, deepener or other item of interest. Limiting the speaker time to approximately one hour to leave more time for networking.

We would really like to see you at the next meeting. If you haven’t attended for a while come and reconnect with old friends and meet some new people. Kick off your new year in the right direction.
